folk music instruments
Anyone like a great variety of instruments in their music?

I for one do. I mean as long as it isn’t overloading it. That is why i just started listening to alot of folk metal.

I like the old Celtic instruments, it sounds amazing with metal.

I just found them like 3 days ago, I love this band.
I didn’t mean just having alot of instruments, but the unique sound is amazing. I do like alot of just the standard intrument bands also.

Just saying.

That could well be why I like Celtic so much. The blend of fiddle, flute, bodhran, pipes, bagpipes, bouzouki, accordian, whistles, and sometimes guitar, bass and drums too.

I recommend these bands : ~
Capercaillie
Deaf Shepherd
Lunasa

Another good one is the Rock-Folk-Renaissance band :~
Blackmore’s Night

The instruments they use include :~
Guitar, bass, drums, chanter, rauschpfeife, shwarm, flute, violin, hurdy-gurdy, keyboards, renaissance drum, amongst several others…
