Many adults have told me why they quit piano as children. Most stories revolved around their teacher, who was A) mean B) scary C) no fun or D) all of the above. These disappointed, once aspiring musicians tell me, “I have always loved music and enjoyed playing, I just wish my teacher had taught me things I wanted to learn”. This has been my drive for being the teacher I am.  Following a three year hiatus from music, a result of my own “bad” teacher experience, I decided the time had come for me to teach piano the way I wish I had been taught!

Appreciation for music is more valuable than rapid advancement! Enjoy studying at your own pace, with personalized lessons that reflect what YOU want to learn, taught in an inspiring and playful environment!

Design interactions that pull answers from within the student! The student is allowed to build their musical knowledge one small concept at a time using their own life experiences. My only expectations (beside payment responsibility) are that students try the best they can for each day they attend, and that each student attend by their own free will.
