Classical music composition question?
Anyone know who composed a modern orchestral work that might be called”Progressions and Flourishes?” It was composed within the last 20 years,I think,by a professor of music at a college in the Midwest.I am not exactly sure of the title, but I’m pretty sure one or another of the words I gave is in the title. It is a great piece, ala “Bolero,” by Ravel,in that it increases gradually into an exhilarating conclusion.(It is not sensual, but just flat-out exciting)
Thank you to all who answer.
I don’t know it. Where/When did you hear it?
